There are few authentic gypsy bands that can keep their purity even after they become really popular. Many people forget where they came from, where they are going, and what once honestly vibrated in the throat accompanied by instruments, wears out over time and sounds increasingly fake.

Fortunately, Parno Graszt is the group that was able to preserve the kindness, simplicity and cheerfulness that best characterizes their music. This band is insanely lovable, and precisely because they don't want to be anything other than who they are. They don't want to exaggerate their traditional gypsy songs, because they know how much energy resides in the simplicity of their catchy melodies.

On the occasion of their concerts, the atmosphere of the country pub comes to life with brandy breath, the carts rattle, the skirts spin and the leaves rustle. When I heard them for the first time, I couldn't get enough of the sight, the musicians are passionate, the eyes are glowing, the hips of the female singers are swaying. If it had been a silent game, I would have watched them for hours. The kánás plays two kannas at the same time, the lip-smacking races are never boring, the lyrics are classic, and the beat makes anyone dance sooner or later.
